Uzbekistan Railways undergoes recertification on ISO 9001:2008
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
System of quality management of state joint stock company Uzbekistan Temir Yollari (Uzbekistan Railways) successfully underwent re-certification on international standard ISO 9001.
After audit, SERT Management affirmed that the quality management system of the company comply with requirements and help Uzbekistan Temir Yollari to achieve its goals.
Uzbekistan Temir Yollari was founded on 7 November 1994 on the base of Central Asian Railway Road, located in Uzbekistan. Total length of railway roads makes up about 3,645 km.
Over 54,700 people work in the company. It accounts 90% of all cargo turnover of all transports of Uzbekistan.
