Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A video conference was held in Malaysia with the leadership of the Phills Asia Pacific company, during which they discussed the creation of an Aviation Academy pilot training center and a logistics hub for cargo transportation in Bukhara region, Dunyo news agency reported.
The Malaysian side expressed its readiness within the framework of this project to make direct investments in the amount of 110 million dollars.
Foreign investors received detailed information on the steps taken by the leadership of Uzbekistan to combat coronavirus and ensure the smooth implementation of joint projects.
The parties discussed issues related to the preparatory work for the creation of a training center and a logistics hub.
Phills Asia Pacific Executive Director Rajiswaran Durairju announced his readiness to launch the project despite the coronavirus pandemic. He also noted that today the Malaysian side continues to work on the development of 3D-design of buildings for future facilities.
As a result of the videoconference, the parties agreed to organize a visit of the management of Phills Asia Pacific to Uzbekistan after the resumption of international air traffic.
