Construction of the international university Minerva World of Knowledge starts in Tashkent
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Construction of the international university Minerva World of Knowledge has started today in Sergeli district of Tashkent.
The ceremony was attended by the khokim of the city of Tashkent Jahongir Artikkhodjaev, the head of the Minerva World of Knowledge project Murali Lal Jalan, the first deputy minister of higher and secondary specialized education Uktam Salomov and others.
Foreign investors made a presentation of the project at the event. It is reported that the university to be built here will accommodate more than 10,000 students and collaborate with prestigious foreign higher education institutions.
The main building will be completed by September 2021, and over the next five years, the remaining campuses, a sports complex, a library and a student residence will be built.
