Important changes await pensioners in Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A Presidential resolution “On additional measures to further improve the system for the payment of state pensions, allowances, compensations and other social payments” was adopted.

In accordance with the resolution, from 1 May 2022:

- payments to citizens and families included in the "Iron Notebook", "Youth Notebook" and "Women’s Notebook", as well as payments for citizens who have served their sentences and released from penitentiary institutions, are funded monthly until the 5th day and delivered to the mahalla field cash desks of Khalq Bank;

- for the services of delivery to citizens by field cash desks of Khalq Bank of funds of pensions, benefits and material assistance in cash, the bank charges a fee in the amount of 1 percent of the amount paid;

- Recipients of pensions, allowances, compensations and material assistance are subject to an additional fee of 1 percent of the amount of the monthly pension and allowance.

Until 1 September 2022, the system for calculating and paying pensions of the paramilitary system will be automated and the practice of maintaining pension cards will be canceled.

By 1 October 2022, 1,800 ATM units will be imported from abroad and installed in remote regions.

Until the end of 2022, a new mobile application of the bank will be developed, which provides the ability to remotely manage pensions and benefits.
