World Cup 2022: Iran beats Wales, Senegal outplays Qatar

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – Iran defeated Wales in the second-round match of the group stage of the World Cup in Qatar.

Rosebesh Cheshmi (90+8) and Ramin Rezaeyan (90+11) scored goals in the match, which earned 3 points for Iran.

The Netherlands played a draw with the team of Ecuador. The match ended with the score 1:1. Cody Gakpo opened the score in the 6th minute. Enner Valencia (49) netted the goal for Ecuador.

Senegal clinched a 3-1 victory over hosts Qatar. Goals for Senegal were scored by Boulaye Dia (41st minute), Famara Diedyu (48) and Bamba Dieng (84). Mohammed Muntari scored Qatar’s only goal in the 78th minute.
