Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan and Qatar signed an Agreement on establishing bilateral strategic partnership relations.

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov and Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani signed the document today in Tashkent.

“We are pleased to announce that Uzbekistan and Qatar have taken an important step, raising bilateral relations to the status of a strategic partnership,” the head of the Uzbek Foreign Ministry wrote on his Telegram channel.
