Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 8 May, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, arrived in Moscow for a working visit.

At the residence prepared for the Uzbek leader, he was welcomed by the Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation, Maxim Oreshkin, and the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Denis Manturov.

According to the program of the visit, the President of Uzbekistan will participate in the ceremonial events dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Second World War, as well as hold a series of bilateral meetings with foreign leaders and representatives of the Russian leadership.
