President Visits “Inson” Social Services Center in Tashkent
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the “Inson” Social Services Center located in the Shaykhantakhur district of Tashkent.
Uzbekistan continues to actively implement the principles of building a social state and ensuring social justice. In line with these goals, “Inson” centers are being established across the country to bring social services closer to the population and make them as accessible as possible.
The center provides over 100 types of social assistance, covering 12 categories of citizens in need of support. To facilitate this, modern conditions have been created, and all procedures — from accepting applications and assessing needs to assigning and delivering services — are organized in a simplified and transparent manner.
What distinguishes the center is that its support is not limited to one-time aid. The well-being of recipients is continuously monitored, and they are accompanied throughout the process until full recovery. All stages of service delivery are digitalized and integrated with the systems of relevant government agencies.
The Shaykhantakhur center employs 25 specialists and 51 social workers assigned to individual mahallas. They conduct targeted work with children and adults with disabilities, as well as with elderly people living alone.
“This is a space where care for the individual is a top priority. The aim here is to ensure that every person feels attention and support. It is through such mechanisms that social justice and respect for human dignity are affirmed in society,” said President Mirziyoyev.
As part of the visit, the President also reviewed the work of the “Imkoniyatlar Olami” (World of Opportunities) institution, established through a public-private partnership.
This center provides early intervention services for children under three years old, offers social adaptation and rehabilitation for children with disabilities, and operates a daycare program.
Currently, around 80 children receive support at the center, where 12 qualified specialists work with them.
