Prospects for Creating a Modular Intelligent Computing Center Discussed
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Minister of Digital Technologies Sherzod Shermatov held a meeting with executives from Chinese companies Shanghai LinkWise Data Intelligence Co., Ltd., China Electronics Technology Development Co., Ltd., and Shanghai Oriental Credits Industrial.
During the talks, the parties explored the potential for jointly establishing a Modular Intelligent Computing Center (MICC) in Uzbekistan through direct foreign investment.
The project aims to develop a state-of-the-art infrastructure featuring high computing power and artificial intelligence capabilities. Implementation is planned in five phases.
At the meeting, the partners presented a preliminary model of the center, technical solutions, and project presentation materials. It was also emphasized that the initiative would contribute to deepening multilateral cooperation within the frameworks of the Belt and Road Initiative and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.
Following the meeting, a memorandum of understanding was signed between the Ministry of Digital Technologies and the Chinese companies, focusing on the development of digital infrastructure, the creation of innovative computing centers, and the acceleration of digital transformation processes.
