Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Qanot Sharq has successfully operated its inaugural direct flight on the "Tashkent – Shanghai" route, thus establishing regular air service between two strategically important metropolitan centers of Uzbekistan and China.

According to the airline's schedule, flights will be operated twice a week — on Mondays and Thursdays. This will significantly accelerate transportation flows between the two countries, simplify logistics, and strengthen trade and economic ties.

The launch of direct air service between Tashkent and Shanghai opens new opportunities for expanding investment cooperation, intensifying tourism exchanges, and fostering closer cultural relations.

This new air route will streamline interactions between business communities, speed up the delivery of commercial cargo, and serve as an additional driver for bilateral trade.
