Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — At the Summer World University Games, currently taking place across various cities in Germany, the Uzbekistan national team continues to add to its medal tally. Today, in the men’s team taekwondo WT event, the Uzbek team secured bronze medals.

The team was represented by Shohzakhon Akhmedov, Umidjon Turopov, and Marat Mavlonov. The athletes successfully reached the semifinals, showcasing a high level of preparation and fighting spirit, and ultimately claimed bronze in the tournament.

As of now, the Uzbek delegation has earned a total of 2 gold, 4 silver, and 5 bronze medals.
