Russian Coffee Chain Gussi Coffee Signs Franchise Agreement in Uzbekistan
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Natalia Sushko, co-owner of the Omsk-based coffee chain Gussi Coffee, has signed an agreement to launch the franchise in Uzbekistan, TASS reports, citing the results of the SCO Business Incubator program held in Omsk.
According to the agency, the document outlines the brand’s entry into the Uzbek market. At the same time, the entrepreneur reached agreements to expand the chain through franchising in China and India.
The event in Omsk brought together 37 business incubator participants, who presented their projects to investors. Among them were representatives from India, China, Uzbekistan, and Russia.
Gussi Coffee was founded in 2021 by Alexey Utiralov and Natalia Sushko. The brand’s first café in Uzbekistan opened in Tashkent in January 2024; however, as of August 25, 2025, the establishment remains closed.
