Second Civil Aviation Conference “Central Asia – China” Opens in Astana
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 13 August 2025, the second conference of the Civil Aviation Cooperation Working Group under the “Central Asia – China” (C5+1) initiative began in Astana, Kazakhstan.
The event brings together heads of aviation administrations from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, and China, as well as representatives of civil aviation authorities, air navigation services, and leadership of airports and airlines.
The agenda includes issues such as flight safety, the development of transport and transit integration, professional training for aviation specialists, the expansion of international routes between China and Central Asian countries, the implementation of new technologies, and the development of environmentally sustainable aviation.
