The seminars on corporate procurements are organized to ensure effective implementation of the presidential resolution “On optimization of system of electronic procurement and expand access of small businesses to them” from 5 April 2013 and the governmental resolution “On additional measures on improvement of process of public and corporate procurement” from 11 June 2013.

The first seminar “Electronic corporate procurement” was held in Tashkent on 8 July 2012. It was aimed at informing large and small businesses on rules of electronic trades on corporate procurement.

UZEX specialist Abdugaffor Umaraliev briefed the participants on rules and procedures of electronic corporate procurement. He also presented information portal of UZEX – www.uzex.uz and its trading platform - http://exarid.uzex.uz/.

The participants considered advantages of new mechanism and it was stated that procurement system ensures transparency and competition at trades.
