Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — At the invitation of the National Leader of the Turkmen People, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdymukhammedov, the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, departed on the morning of 22 August for a working visit to Turkmenistan.

During the visit, the Uzbek President will participate in the “Azerbaijan–Turkmenistan–Uzbekistan” summit, held at the Avaza National Tourist Zone.

Bilateral meetings with leaders of several countries on the sidelines of the summit are also planned.
