The roundtable was attended by MPs, teachers of universities and scholars, representatives of state bodies, German experts, the committee’s press service said.

The state property management is a key issue on state regulation of economy in all developed countries. It is important to ensure effective management of the state property.

The draft law “On management of the state property” was developed to improve management of the state property in Uzbekistan. The document is directed at building system on management of the state property from its purchase right to it and its abolishment. It also regulates jurisdiction of the state bodies in management of the state property.

The document sets legal framework for corporate management of the state assets, interaction of the state bodies and their effective work on use of the state property.

The draft law will introduce changes to the Civil Code, which regulates such issues as creation and elimination of the state unitary enterprises, responsibility for state property, etc.
