Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Zoyir Mirzaev, Khokim of Tashkent Region, held a meeting with Albert Shaikhutdinov, the newly appointed head of the Representative Office of the Republic of Bashkortostan in Uzbekistan.

During the talks, the parties discussed prospects for elevating bilateral cooperation to a new level. Particular attention was given to expanding practical interaction in the fields of economy, science and technology, education, and agriculture, as well as exchanging experience in other promising areas.

Special focus was placed on the potential for joint work in beekeeping. The Republic of Bashkortostan has considerable expertise in this sector, while Tashkent Region offers strong potential for the development of beekeeping.

The discussions covered opportunities for sharing experience, creating joint projects, establishing a research center, and expanding the export of finished products to international markets.

The Khokim congratulated Albert Shaikhutdinov on his appointment and wished him success in his new role. The parties also agreed to draw up concrete plans in the identified areas and continue developing practical cooperation.
