Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 24 July 2025, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between JSC Toshshahartanskhizmat and LLC Huawei Tech. Investment Tashkent to implement the Presidential Decree No. PQ-59 (16 February 2023) on public transport reform and the Cabinet of Ministers' resolution No. PQM-147/8 (20 March 2024) on introducing an integrated intelligent public transport management system in Tashkent.

Under the agreement, Tashkent’s public transport system will launch a pilot project to install hardware and software solutions for photo and video traffic law enforcement.

The initiative is expected to enhance passenger transport safety, optimize bus route management, and reduce the number of traffic violations across the city.

The signing ceremony was attended by a delegation from Toshshahartanskhizmat, led by First Deputy Chairman of the Board Rustam Shamoradov, and representatives of Huawei Tech. Investment Tashkent, headed by General Director Tan Xiaosan.

This project marks a significant step toward the digital transformation of Tashkent's public transport system and aims to integrate advanced smart technologies into the city’s transport infrastructure.
