Turabek Khabibullaev Secures Uzbekistan’s Fourth Gold at World Boxing Championships

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Turabek Khabibullaev claimed Uzbekistan’s fourth gold medal at the World Boxing Championships in Liverpool, winning in the under-90 kg weight category.

In the final bout, the 21-year-old Uzbek boxer faced Isaias Ribeiro. He took the opening round 3:2, extended his lead to 4:1 in the second, and in the final round maintained firm control of the fight to seal a well-deserved victory.

With this triumph, Uzbekistan’s national team now has four gold and three bronze medals at the World Championships.
