Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Authorities in Dubai are continuing to investigate a violent altercation that resulted in the deaths of two Uzbek citizens, according to updated reports.

As reported by Khaleej Times, the incident occurred at a gas station and was reportedly rooted in a personal dispute. Preliminary information indicates that the conflict involved two groups who were previously acquainted and escalated into a mass brawl.

The altercation began when one of the victims arrived at the station to inflate the tires of his red Mercedes. Upon exiting the vehicle, he was attacked by a group of individuals. The second victim attempted to flee but was caught and fatally injured by another group.

A police officer nearby witnessed the incident and immediately alerted law enforcement. Dubai police quickly responded, cordoned off the area, and launched an investigation. Surveillance footage and eyewitness accounts helped reconstruct the sequence of events and identify those involved.

As a result of the swift operation, 11 individuals were detained, including the alleged organizers of the attack. The suspects were found at a hotel in a neighboring emirate.

During questioning, the detainees admitted to participating in the conflict and cited longstanding personal disagreements as the motive.

Authorities emphasized that the case is private in nature and unrelated to politics. The materials have been handed over to the Dubai Public Prosecution for further legal proceedings.
