Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Representatives of Incheon International Airport Corporation (IIAC) and the Incheon Airport Aviation Academy (IAAA) held a working meeting with the management of Uzbekistan Airports and visited the specialized training facility — Airports Training Center.

During the visit, the delegation was introduced to the center’s educational infrastructure, including simulation technologies, multimedia equipment, and specialized classrooms designed for training aviation personnel.

The meeting culminated in the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding aimed at developing a partnership in professional aviation training. The document outlines the joint implementation of educational programs, faculty exchange, and the organization of trainings and events aligned with international aviation standards.

Special focus was placed on establishing a sustainable platform for human capital development within a unified educational space for Asian and CIS countries. The discussions included prospects for academic mobility, the potential integration of the training center into the international civil aviation training system, and mechanisms for implementing educational initiatives in collaboration with the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).

The Korean delegation praised the technical capabilities of the Airports Training Center and the structure of its training programs, noting that the facility meets global standards and is well-positioned to adopt international educational formats.

At the conclusion of the visit, both parties reaffirmed their commitment to deepening the partnership and expressed readiness to launch their first joint projects in the second half of 2025.
