Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 28 July 2025, Uzbekistan’s Minister of Investments, Industry and Trade Laziz Kudratov held talks with Johan Pelissi, President of Airbus for Europe.

During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for expanding cooperation between Uzbekistan and France in the field of civil aviation. Particular attention was given to the modernization and renewal of the country’s aircraft fleet, a move expected to significantly increase tourist flows.

An agreement was also reached to develop a joint pilot training program, to be implemented in cooperation with the Tashkent State Transport University and Airbus.
