Uzbekistan and Bahrain Aim to Develop Partnership and Regional Stability
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — During an official visit, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Bakhtiyor Saidov, met with the Deputy Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain, Sheikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa.
The meeting was also attended by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bahrain, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani. Sheikh Khalid bin Abdullah emphasized the high level of bilateral relations between Bahrain and Uzbekistan, highlighting both countries’ readiness to expand cooperation in tourism, logistics, food security, and renewable energy.
He noted that strengthening ties with Central Asian states is an important strategic goal for diversifying Bahrain’s international partnerships. According to him, regular high-level contacts contribute to the development of cooperation, reinforce mutual respect and shared interests, and support stability and development at both regional and international levels.
In response, Bakhtiyor Saidov confirmed Uzbekistan’s interest in further deepening engagement with Bahrain across various sectors and expressed his wishes for continued progress and prosperity for the Kingdom.
