Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A high-level meeting took place in Sofia between a delegation from Uzbekistan and Galab Donev, Head of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Bulgaria, where the central issue was ensuring fairness and legality in the sphere of labor migration.

Special attention was given to protecting human rights and guaranteeing decent working and living conditions for Uzbek citizens employed in Bulgaria.

Measures to enhance the legal protection of migrants, as well as to simplify visa procedures and employment processes, were discussed.

Both parties confirmed their readiness to develop cooperation based on the priorities of human dignity, rights, and interests.
