Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 30 June 2025, the Uzeltekhsanoat Association hosted a follow-up meeting with representatives of Envision Group, one of China's largest renewable energy companies.

The meeting was attended by Jahongir Jamalov, Deputy Chairman of the Association, Evgeny Tipakov, Envision Group's Manager for Central Asia, Farrukh Asralkhojaev, Head of the company's local partner Solar Nature in Uzbekistan, as well as representatives of other interested organizations.

Participants discussed the current state of Uzbekistan’s energy sector, the country’s domestic market potential, and the government’s support measures for localizing the production of lithium-ion batteries.

Special attention was given to cooperation prospects in the field of battery energy storage systems (BESS). During the talks, the parties agreed that the Uzeltekhsanoat Association would provide technical and economic information to support the initiative. They also discussed the creation of a future joint venture.

Both sides emphasized that the meeting marks an important step toward advancing green energy, technological modernization, and the localization of high-tech manufacturing in Uzbekistan.
