Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov held talks with Seyed Abbas Araghchi, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the deepening of long-standing and multifaceted relations between the two countries, grounded in their rich shared heritage, cultural ties, and economic cooperation.

The ministers noted the positive dynamics in the growth of trade turnover and explored prospects for further expansion of bilateral cooperation.

It was emphasized that there remains significant untapped potential for strengthening partnership in key areas of mutual interest.

“We reaffirmed the importance of diplomacy in ensuring regional peace, stability, and sustainable development,” Saidov stressed.
