Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan Strengthen Cooperation in Construction and Public Utilities
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Minister of Construction and Housing and Communal Services of Uzbekistan, Sherzod Khidoyatov, held a meeting with his counterpart, the Minister of Construction, Architecture, and Housing and Communal Services of the Kyrgyz Republic, Nurdan Oruntaev.
At the outset of the meeting, it was especially noted that, thanks to the efforts of the leaders of both countries, friendly and warm relations between the two brotherly peoples have reached a qualitatively new level in recent years.
During the discussions, the two sides exchanged views on reforms in the construction sector, the improvement of the regulatory framework, digitalization processes, and comprehensive regional development. Uzbekistan’s experience was highly appreciated by the Kyrgyz side, and both parties expressed mutual interest in deepening cooperation in these areas.
The two ministers agreed to maintain an ongoing dialogue and continue the exchange of expertise.
