Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 27 June, Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan Dilshod Rasulov held a meeting with Chaudhry Bilal, Director of Glitz Group, one of Pakistan’s largest international investment entities.

The meeting focused on exploring cooperation prospects between the two countries in the fields of pharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals, and cosmeceuticals.

Glitz Group is a leading pharmaceutical holding in Pakistan, manufacturing more than 650 certified products under brands such as Glitz Pharma, Glitz Life Care, and Glitzderm, with exports to over 20 countries worldwide. The company’s production processes are aligned with international ISO and cGMP standards and are certified by Pakistan’s national regulatory authority — DRAP (Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan).

Chaudhry Bilal highlighted the rapid development of the pharmaceutical and nutraceutical industries in Uzbekistan and expressed strong interest in the country’s favorable investment climate, ongoing reforms, and opportunities being created for foreign investors.

In this regard, he announced Glitz Group’s plans to establish its own production facilities in Uzbekistan.

In response, Dilshod Rasulov welcomed the initiative and reaffirmed the Chamber’s full support for the project. He emphasized that practical assistance would be provided to investors in identifying reliable local partners and resolving both project-related and organizational matters.

As a result of the meeting, the two sides agreed to cooperate on the establishment of a joint venture in Uzbekistan, the production of high value-added products, and access to regional markets.
