Uzbekistan and Poland Expand Partnership in IT and Educational Technologies
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Minister of Education of the Republic of Poland, Barbara Nowacka, accompanied by an official delegation, visited IT Park Uzbekistan.
The purpose of the visit was to strengthen bilateral cooperation between Uzbekistan and Poland in the field of information technologies, particularly in IT education.
As part of the visit, the Polish delegation was introduced to the operations of the UZINFOCOM center, as well as the specialized innovation center UZSOC, which ensures cybersecurity for critical infrastructure. The guests were presented with detailed information about the national digital infrastructure, measures to ensure information security, the functioning of e-government systems, and major projects being implemented in this area.
Following the tour, a meeting took place between Uzbekistan’s Minister of Digital Technologies, Sherzod Shermatov, and Poland’s Minister of Education, Barbara Nowacka. During the negotiations, the parties discussed prospects for cooperation in digital technologies and education.
Particular attention was given to the implementation of joint educational projects, the organization of student exchange and internship programs, and collaboration in the development of digital learning resources, online educational platforms, and professional development programs for educators.
The Polish delegation praised Uzbekistan’s efforts in developing a digital educational ecosystem and emphasized the importance of experience-sharing, which could bring mutual benefits to both countries.
