Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A meeting was held between Mansurbek Olloyorov, Director of the National Agency for Social Protection under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and Johan Forssell, Minister for Migration of the Kingdom of Sweden.

The parties discussed prospects for cooperation in key areas such as support for migrant families, reintegration of returning citizens, inclusive employment for people with disabilities, social assistance for low-income families and women with children, and protection of children left without care due to migration.

The Uzbek side proposed launching pilot projects in partnership with Sweden, establishing an exchange of specialists, and leveraging shared knowledge and practical experience.

Following the talks, both sides agreed to continue regular cooperation and coordinate efforts toward the sustainable development of Uzbekistan’s social protection systems.
