Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A meeting took place in Tashkent between Gayane Umerova, Chairwoman of the Cultural and Art Development Foundation of Uzbekistan, and Jonathan Henick, the U.S. Ambassador to Uzbekistan.

During the discussion, the prospects for strengthening cultural ties between the two countries and opportunities for implementing joint projects in the fields of art and cultural exchange were explored.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Gayane Umerova expressed gratitude to the United States for its support in the restoration of the Sherdor Madrasa in Samarkand and emphasized the importance of further developing partnership relations in the cultural sphere.
