Uzbekistan and Türkiye sign memorandum of understanding on consumer protection cooperation
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 15 May, during the 8th session of the Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Türkiye, bilateral negotiations were held with the participation of Halilullo Turakhuzhaev, Chairman of the Committee for the Development of Competition and Consumer Protection of Uzbekistan.
As part of the meeting, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between Uzbekistan’s Committee for the Development of Competition and Consumer Protection and the Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Türkiy, focusing on issues related to consumer rights protection.
The signing of this document marks an important step toward strengthening bilateral cooperation, enhancing institutional mechanisms, and introducing advanced international practices in the field of consumer protection.
