Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 25 June 2025, a business meeting took place in Tashkent between representatives of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, the National Association for Economic Cooperation, and a delegation of Chinese entrepreneurs.

The event brought together executives from nearly 40 major Chinese companies and business associations, along with leading representatives of Uzbekistan’s business community.

Opening the meeting, Luo Yu, head of the Chinese delegation and Chairman of the Chongqing Provincial Cultural Tourism Group, expressed gratitude for the warm welcome and high level of organization.

One of the key outcomes of the event was the signing of a memorandum of cooperation between the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan and the National Association for Economic Cooperation. The document aims to gradually strengthen business ties between entrepreneurs from both countries, expand investment cooperation, and support joint projects.

The meeting also included bilateral B2B sessions, during which participants discussed specific areas of partnership, including industry, logistics, tourism, agriculture, and other sectors.

The event marked another step toward deepening economic ties between Uzbekistan and China and confirmed the strong interest of Chinese businesses in the Uzbek market.
