Uzbekistan, China trade up 39.4% y-o-y in Jan-July

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Trade turnover between Uzbekistan and China grew by 39.5% year-on-year to US$1.224 billion in January-July 2009. Trade between countries comprised to US$161.912 million in July, the General Administration of Customs of China said.

Uzbekistan exports to China fell by 9.4% year-on-year to US$230.809million in January-July. The export of Uzbekistan to China comprised US$23.525 million in July 2009.

China’s export to Uzbekistan made up US$138.387 million in July 2009. The export in January-July reached US$994.18 million, up 59.4% year-on-year.
