Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The leadership of the “Uzbekpaksanoat” Association held a meeting with a delegation from the China Center for International Economic and Technical Cooperation.

The parties discussed the development of Uzbekistan’s silk industry and the strengthening of bilateral cooperation.

Uzbekistan has become a member of the International Silk Network (INS). Membership provides the country with numerous opportunities, including the introduction of modern technologies and scientific projects, access to global markets, participation in international fairs and investment forums, active promotion of Uzbek silk culture, and the use of global information and analytical resources.

This step is seen as an important milestone in enhancing Uzbekistan’s international prestige in sericulture and bringing the industry to a new level of development.
