Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Uzbekistan national football team will compete in Group A of the second edition of the CAFA Nations Cup, scheduled to take place from 29 August to 8 September 2025.

According to the results of the official draw, Temur Kapadze’s team will face Oman, Kyrgyzstan, and Turkmenistan in the group stage. Uzbekistan will open the tournament on 30 August with a match against Oman. The second game is set for 2 September against Turkmenistan, and the group stage will conclude with a clash against Kyrgyzstan on 5 September.

Meanwhile, Group B will feature the national teams of Iran, Tajikistan, Afghanistan, and Malaysia.

Group stage matches will be held across two venues — in Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. The final match of the tournament will take place in Uzbekistan, where the champion of the second season of the CAFA Nations Cup will be determined.
