Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Minister of Digital Technologies Sherzod Shermatov held a meeting with a delegation led by Nobumitsu Hayashi, Chairman of the Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC).

During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on the current state of cooperation, future plans, and prospective digital technology projects.

Discussions focused on the development and modernization of Uzbekistan’s digital infrastructure, support for ongoing initiatives, advancement of IT education, and the creation of joint programs with international educational institutions. Special emphasis was also placed on fostering innovation through startup-driven projects.

Both parties agreed to maintain a productive dialogue, support priority initiatives, and jointly explore new opportunities in the digital sector.
