Uzbektelecom cuts tariffs for internet services for ISPs

Uzbektelecom joint stock company cut tariffs for internet services (external channel) for internet service providers up to US$362.9 per 1 Mbps from 21 June 2013, the press service of the company said.
The company said that the tariffs for ISPs were cut for the third time. On 30 January, the prices were decreased to US$409.44 and on 26 February – to US$383.7 and on 21 June – to US$362.9 per 1 Mbps.
It recalled that in 2012, the company decreased prices seven times. The price fell to US$500 per 1 Mbps US$422 on 27 November.
In last three years, the prices for external channel for ISPs fell over three times compared to current prices.
