In accordance with the mission to explore the opportunities of regional growth and partnership with the representatives of regional lyceums and colleges that specialize in English, WIUT started RELTA – Regional English Language Training to Adults.

It is an annual short summer course scheduled from 1 July to 5 July 2013 for regional teachers of English.

The first session commenced with welcome speech of WIUT Acting Dean Elena Volkova, who wished the 38 English language teachers from 10 regions of Uzbekistan an engaging learning process.

It was stressed that the course is aimed at improving knowledge and skills of regional teachers, which will be another step in achieving high-quality English language teaching practices throughout the Republic of Uzbekistan.

RELTA is led by highly experienced WIUT academic staff recognized for their record of outstanding teaching. The sessions consist of workshops, examples analysis and interactive classroom discussions.
