Wildberries: Online Sales in Uzbekistan Continue to Grow Rapidly
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Wildberries’ analytical department has summarized the results for the first six months of 2025 in Uzbekistan, confirming the sustained rise in the popularity of online shopping and notable shifts in consumer behavior.
According to the company, online sales continue to show robust growth across several key categories. Clothing sales rose by 22%, beauty products by 14%, and toys by 18%. The footwear segment showed the most remarkable surge, with sales soaring by an impressive 79%.
Significant growth was also recorded in previously less popular segments. Electric transport experienced a record increase of 146%, motorcycle products rose by 140%, major household appliances by 78%, and gardening equipment by 66%. Among the fastest-growing product groups were protein waffles, ready-made desserts, and freeze-dried fruits, all of which saw their sales multiply several times over.
Despite growing interest in new categories, books remain the most frequently purchased items, indicating stable demand in this segment. At the same time, consistent growth has been observed in creams (+29%), T-shirts (+13%), serums (+30%), and dresses (+27%).
Analysts believe that the increase in sales of large household and garden equipment indicates a growing trend among consumers in Uzbekistan to invest in home comfort and improvement.
