Wildberries pays over 50 billion soums in taxes following audit
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The online marketplace Wildberries has paid over 50 billion soums in additional taxes following an audit, the Uzbekistan Tax Committee reported.
The agency continues its systematic efforts to regulate and legalize e-commerce.
During the inspection, it was found that the activities of Wildberries (operating in Uzbekistan through WB INT EXPORT LLC) did not fully comply with the country’s tax legislation. Wildberries itself is registered in the Russian Federation under LLC "RVB".
As a result of the tax audit covering 2022–2024, an additional 51.2 billion soums in tax payments were made to the state budget, including 42.8 billion soums in VAT.
