Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 27 April 2025, the awards ceremony for the winners of the Yandex Uzbekistan Coding and Math Contest 2025 took place at the New Uzbekistan University. The event was organized by Yandex Uzbekistan with support from the ML Community (INHA University) and New Uzbekistan University.

The competition attracted university students and young IT specialists from across the country, who showcased high levels of expertise in programming, algorithms, mathematical analysis, linear algebra, statistics, and probability theory.

The contest featured two online stages — programming and mathematics. The tasks, designed by international experts, were presented in English. Participation in the contest was entirely free of charge.

Winners were determined based on the points accumulated during the competition. Laureates received valuable prizes, including cash rewards, modern gadgets, and promo codes for Yandex Plus subscriptions. The total prize fund of the competition amounted to 65 million soums.

The awards ceremony marked the grand finale of a large-scale educational project that brought together participants, organizers, and partner organizations.

The event emphasized the importance of developing IT education in the country and the need for systematic support for talented youth striving to contribute to Uzbekistan's digital future.
