Yandex Go Launches “Where to Go” Section in Bukhara Featuring Over 250 Cafes and Restaurants

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — In Bukhara, Yandex Go users can now choose venues for offline visits thanks to the new “Where to Go” section in the Eats service.

At present, the section features information on more than 250 restaurants and cafes across the city. A similar feature is already available in Tashkent.

The “Where to Go” section offers curated selections of venues compiled both by a neural network and local experts, catering to various requests such as “Beautiful Places,” “Breakfasts,” “Plov,” “Meat,” and more. Users can also apply filters to find a place for a specific occasion, taking into account cuisine type, average bill, presence of an outdoor terrace, and other parameters.

Each venue is presented in a card format with a description and photos. Descriptions are created by editors and the neural network based on visitor reviews. The cards are supplemented with data from Eats (for partner restaurants) and Yandex Maps, including menus, ratings, reviews, opening hours, and contact details. Routes to the chosen venue can be built directly via Yandex Maps.

The functionality also includes the option to add venues to “Favorites,” allowing users to create their own lists of restaurants and cafes and share them. The section additionally publishes articles on dishes and notable figures in world gastronomy.

For restaurants and cafes, “Where to Go” offers an additional touchpoint with their target audience and can help attract new guests.
