Uzbekistan Havo Yollari orders four Boeing-787 Dreamliner jets

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan Havo Yollari (Uzbekistan Airways) placed an order to purchase four Boeing-787 Dreamliner jets, the US company Boeing Co. said.
On 6 January, Boeing published data on number of orders for its airplanes, which it received in 2016.
According to US company, Uzbekistan Havo Yollari ordered four Boeing-787 Dreamliner jets. Boeing did not say, which model of Dreamliner the Uzbek airline ordered.
In November 2016, Uzbekistan Havo Yollari stated that the airline will purchase three airplanes of Boeing-787-9 model.
Currently Uzbekistan Havo Yollari uses two airplanes of Boeing-787-8 modification. The airline received them in August and November 2016.
The Boeing 787 Dreamliner is a long-range, mid-size wide-body, twin-engine jet airliner developed by Boeing Commercial Airplanes. It seats 250 to 330 passengers, depending on the variant.
Boeing states that it is the company’s most fuel-efficient airliner and the world’s first major airliner to use composite materials for most of its construction. According to Boeing, the 787 consumes 20% less fuel than the similarly-sized 767.
