GM Uzbekistan to introduce IT solutions to its activities

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- GM Uzbekistan, Computerization and Information Technologies Developing Center UZINFOCOM, Inha University in Tashkent, Tashkent University of Information Technologies and Turin Polytechnic University in Tashkent signed a memorandum of understanding in Tashkent on 23 January 2017.
The memorandum envisions, first of all, cooperation in developing the use of modern information and communication technologies in the activities of GM Uzbekistan, related to providing automobile and after-sales services, as well as joint implementation of a project on introduction of interactive online services for population and business entities. Such cooperation will help GM Uzbekistan to improve its services and eliminate existing problems in customer service through the introduction of innovative solutions.
In particular, the parties to MoU are planning to develop and to launch a special project, which will allow buyers of GM Uzbekistan cars to find its official dealers and service centers easily, as well as to leave their feedback on the quality of services or existing problems. In future, GM Uzbekistan will launch an online-sales system.
One of essential areas of cooperation will be strengthening public relations. Despite the fact that GM Uzbekistan implements several projects on improving quality of its products, the wider public is not always aware of these efforts. With the aim consolidation of public relations, the parties to MoU will set up communication channels to publicize information on activities of GM Uzbekistan and its efforts directed at improving quality of products.
Three universities mentioned above will attract their students to implement projects within this memorandum. Initially, the students will be selected for an internship, with a prospect of job offer by GM Uzbekistan for the most distinctive among them.
