Jizzakh Petroleum launches four petrol stations in Tashkent

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Joint venture Jizzakh Petroleum will launch four petrol stations in Tashkent on 10 January, which will sell imported gasoline.
The first petrol station are located on the streets of Bogishamol, Ahmad Donish, on the Small Ring Road in the Almazar District and on the Kushbegi Massif in Tashkent city.
At the first stage, petrol stations will sell imported gasoline of Ai-95 and Ai-98 grades, as well as diesel fuel.
The cost of Ai-95 gasoline at Jizzakh Petroleum petrol stations will be 8,500 soums per liter, AI-98 – 9,000 soums per liter, and diesel fuel – 8,500 soums per liter.
Jizzakh Petroleum is currently implementing a project on construction of an oil refinery in Jizzakh region. The joint venture will receive raw materials through oil pipeline from Russia and Kazakhstan. The founders of the joint venture are Uzbekneftegaz JSC (60% share in the joint venture) and Gas Project Development Central Asia (a subsidiary of Gazprom International, 40%). The general contractor will be Enter Engineering.
Jizzakh Petroleum will annually process up to 5 million tonnes of oil and produce 3.7 million tonnes of motor fuel corresponding to the Euro-5 standard, more than 700,000 tonnes of aviation kerosene, as well as liquefied gas, fuel oil, bitumen and other products.
