Uzbekistan to send funds for development of small and family businesses

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A new system of concessional lending to small businesses, family entrepreneurship, and farmer and dehkan farms is being created in Uzbekistan.
President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a resolution “On measures to improve and improve the efficiency of work to ensure employment of the population”.
Microcredits will be provided in the amount up to 500 sizes of minimal salary for a period of up to three years, with a grace period of 6 months, at an interest rate of 50% of the Central Bank refinancing rate, including a commercial bank margin of 50% of the loan rate.
At the same time, microcredits can be allocated without collateral to unemployed persons registered in employment centers, to citizens who have returned from labor migration, to women in difficult life situations, to members of low-income families and other socially vulnerable layers of the population in the amount of not more than 100 sizes of minimal salary.

According to the resolution of the President, Microcreditbank, Agrobank and Khalq bank will provide microcredits at the expense of the resources allocated to the Employment Promotion Fund from the Republican budget, and resources of regional funds.
