Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A meeting was held at the Central Bank of Uzbekistan dedicated to the consultations between the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the Republic of Uzbekistan for 2025 under Article IV of the IMF Agreements.

During the meeting, macroeconomic conditions of 2024 were discussed, along with the recent changes in monetary and macroprudential policies, as well as forecasts for 2025 and the planned measures to ensure monetary policy and financial stability.

As part of this mission, IMF representatives will continue meetings with other ministries, agencies, and commercial banks.

Meetings under Article IV of the IMF Agreements are held to analyze economic changes in IMF member countries, monitor the monetary policies of central banks, and assess reforms in the banking system by international experts.
