IQVIA Reviews and Analyzes Uzbekistan Pharma Market

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 30 April 2026, negotiations were held at the Agency for the Development of the Pharmaceutical Industry between Director Abdullah Azizov and representatives of the international company IQVIA, which specializes in analytics and digital solutions in healthcare.

During the meeting, the company presented analytical materials on the current state of Uzbekistan’s pharmaceutical market, its dynamics, and key development trends. According to IQVIA’s assessment, the country’s market demonstrates steady growth and is among the fastest-developing in the region.

The parties discussed proposals aimed at increasing the investment attractiveness of the sector, including improving data transparency, enhancing the regulatory environment, and expanding information tools for international investors.

Special attention was given to the company’s digital products. In particular, IQVIA presented its global MIDAS database, as well as Agentic AI-based solutions that enable in-depth market analysis, identification of priority areas, assessment of manufacturers’ export potential, and development of data-driven strategic approaches.

In addition, the Price Monitor system was presented, designed for automated calculation of international reference prices and improved transparency of pricing policies. The tool allows for analysis of price indicators across different countries and calculations based on national methodologies.

Following the meeting, both sides agreed to further develop cooperation, including the implementation of advanced analytical and digital solutions in Uzbekistan’s pharmaceutical sector, as well as adaptation of international best practices to improve sector efficiency and strengthen the investment climate.
