Uzbekistan, Israel cooperate in rehabilitation of children

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Embassy of Israel in Uzbekistan has launched a new program of cooperation with the Republican Center of social adaptation and rehabilitation of children in the field of Hydrotherapy for challenged children, the Embassy said.
The Republican Center built the first Hydrotherapy pool in the country for the treatment of challenged children on the basics of an architectural scheme sent from Israel ( Clinic Beit Issie Shapiro).
Following this, Israel has now sent a Hydrotherapy instructor Ms. Caroline Barmatz, the Head of Hydrotherapy Association of Israel in order to conduct a series of lectures and trainings for the staff of the Republican Center. The staff includes also people from the periphery.
She presents different techniques (Halliwick, Baz Ragaz Ring method, Watsu) and specific methods according to specific cases (ICP, Down syndrome, autism, hydrocephaly, macrocephaly, etc.)
Ms. Barmatz praised the Republican Center of social adaptation and rehabilitation of children for its devoted work for challenged children in Uzbekistan specially noting the homely and friendly atmosphere. She commented professionalism, high motivation, commitment on behalf of the team for the benefit of the children.
The Embassy of Israel has been proudly working with the Republican Center of social adaptation and rehabilitation of children for last four years in courses, seminars and trainings, sessions. Ambassador Newman stated that the Republican Center of social adaptation and rehabilitation of children was chosen due to the genuine care and devotion of the team.
